Dig for fossils, see evidence of the volcanic and tectonic forces that created Owens Valley, learn about Owens lake and the California Aqueduct, take a tour of the historic Cerro Gordo mine ($10 donation for those over 10 years old) all in the company of other scout friends!
Tent, RV or Trailer Camping sites available.
Nice lake side campsites, pit toilets, scenic location, close to Lone Pine.
Our Geologist guide is also a BSA Merit Badge Counselor for Geology.
Girl Scout Junior and up, and Boy Scouts must attend with family.
